To me, these are the same thing. To me, `trying to sell a product' *is*
pretty much the same as brainwashing, especially in a political application
like this where everyone always assumes that you're trying to shove your
ideology down their throats. Either way it implies forcing something upon
someone who doesn't want it forced on them.
