Get your ass out the door, Scottie, and then come right back in!

I would never want to be accused of begging any flouncer to stay. (Not that
any such accusation would stick, in this instance--My mental image of Mr.
Bowman can't quite incorporate a feather boa and pump heels....) So do
whatever you have to do, Scottie. Darken our doorway by taking your leave.
But if you don't instantly brighten it again by stepping RIGHT back in, I,
for one, will never forgive you.

(And as I've heard you snigger from time to time, Canadians are almost
consitutionally incapable of such resolution... let alone such vindictive
anger.)

I have no idea how all this started (I was working in Jamaica last week, and
don't have time just now to sift through the rubble in the backlist) but I
want it to end IMMEDIATELY! (And as a guy who's probably closer to Scottie,
in age, than to the median or average age of bananafish at large, ahem, I
politely request a certain amount of respect.... Ah, yes, spoken much more
like a true Canadian....) Stop squabbling, right now!

RIGHT NOW!! And that means you too, Scottie. Put it down to my advancing
senescence if you must, but I couldn't honestly imagine a bananafishbowl
without you.

Cheers,

Paul
