Humor, it seems, has a sense of fate.

After so many years of playing devil's advocate, of scorning the
Salinger fan club here on the list, of generally being a grumpy young
man about all things Salinger, I've found the most deliciously ironic of
academic plots in which to take root: Ursinus College, PA.
