Tim, I recently read William Gibson's latest. I missed more of the
computer/ network layers from his previous work...and recognized
previous storytelling patterns of Gibson that I doubted needed
returning to...the end especially seemed too easy and less real than
the rest of the book. I finished the book and thought that Gibson, at
his best reminded me of Delillo, but only as a reminder that others
were making a better mix of cultural criticism and story telling. will
