when i read it, my first impression was that fanny was pregnant. that and
she simply didnt have the tolerance to put up with this life anymore. i
think that she knew that she was pregnant and that the baby was his, and
she couldnt stand the fact that it was HIM, this man that was so terribly
stupid and not understanding in her eyes. but as everyone knows, it IS
only a theory.
