Way to go Jennifer! A member of my English Dept (the brilliant
Chaucerian...) gave me the Salinger "heads up" on Forrester when he'd
read a review of the film. I too think Sean Connery is quite good
(his best role, though no one should agree, was as an eternal
Scotsman in one of the Highlander films). I'd imagine being
Salingeresque in the guise of Sean Connery is as good as JDS could
hope for, though I'm well aware he probably has no such hopes at all.
Anyway, I'm most anxious to hear what you think, will
