Yes, JJF, I certainly remember Frances Glassmoyer being
referred to as an old girl friend of JDS's. Like yourself,
I can't recall if the film makers commented on the association
with Franny but at the time it seemed to me too obvious even
to require comment. Everyone was very sniffy about that particular
production - something I couldn't quite understand; it struck me
as a very reasonable effort by a popular medium to extend
interest in yer man. But I sometimes think of JDS himself
were to appear on the Dome of the Rock to make a full public
confession of his position vis-a-vis The Sempiternal it would be
dismissed in some quarters as thinly inadequate.

And, OF COURSE, Suzanne had nothing against will.
For a reason that still baffles me she seems never to have
accepted that my entry to her painting competition was
made in genuine good faith & not an attempt to disrupt
her cyber traffic. On the other hand, I CAN understand
her irritation with my senile tendency to barge into every
conversation with that tiresomely compulsive frivolousness.
On the third hand, maybe - like so many others - she had
simply found impossible any longer to conceal her passion.
