Please excuse this minimalist intrusion after such a lengthy absence,
but I think that "wing tips" might be known in Britain as "brogues",
Scottie.

That's what we call them here in the great white (er, soggy green)
north.

They're the dress shoes with hundreds of tiny little holes perforating
an upper layer of leather. Lord knows why they acquired either name.
