It seems my rather poor diction has struck again... I didn't mean to
imply that there was some sort of contest going on, just that the relative
obscurity (only one person noted the reference) of the quote was beyond our
colective ken, and was therefore interpreted incorrectly. 'Befuddled'
would perhaps have been a better choice.
