Unfortunately my brain has shut down (I notice I even temporarily lost my grasp of capitalization rules--forgive me, Scottie) and so will my computer, shortly. The main difference, as I see it, between the bullet and the rock is that the bullet IS deadly. It takes the see-more-glass theory too far and makes it too serious. It's one thing to be a little boy and throw a rock at a girl (I mean, all literary analysis aside, boys do that, OK?) and quite another to aim a bullet through his brain. He knew what he was doing. I guess I don't get how he becomes more accessible to the world after his suicide. Thanks for all the food (bananas?) for thought, ecas and others. I'll be back in the morning. Bethany
