will,

I would love to have had a Mary Hudson wave to me from third base. That
wave (more Salingerian poetry) is, in my book, on par with a nod from any
enlightened swami.

Perhaps part of my problem is that I am cut off from the boy who was the boy
in that previous post. Enjoy the game. Though an old Yankee fan (part of
summer's treat was three weeks at my grandparents' house in Jersey where the
local broadcasts were Yankees games), I have to admit now I would pull for
the Sox. Poetic justice would be a World Series matchup between the Red Sox
and Chicago Cubs, going seven games, into extra innings, tied through
eternity.

Goodness, I'm beginning to talk you-know-what. I'd better end this. Now.
