I had the opportunity to visit a sculpture exhibition at the guggenheim
museum recently and thought about how much I wanted to touch the
sculpture...I think that' s what s was doing throwing a rock at
charlotte...touching the art of her but because he's human, we touch each
other too often with hurt and too little with our spirits...I'm tired and
just guessing...but there's one other parallel I can offer...when I was
young I had been given a fairly decent bow and arrows. After plenty of
practice I drew my bow at the sky and hit a flying bird...though amazed at
my ability to do so, I have felt badly about that moment for my entire
life. Perhaps a similar type of paradox is at work with seymour's
incredible throw? will
