Dear Scott,
I would first like to console you on you obvious inferiortiy complex (made
obvious on your subject heading "Have this one no me"). I'm sure you're a
bright young man who is confused about a variety of issues (what they are I
don't venture to guess). Good luck with all of them.
Secondly, I don't think that I would say my chuckle was patronizing or
critical or uppidy or any other synonym that a bright young scholar like
yourself may come up with. It was a chuckle. That's it. As far as her
being too good for me.... well, you're probably right. She is too good for
me and I thank God everyday for that and I hope you too find someone someday
that is too good for you as well.
Finally, I hope that there will be people on this list who answer my
question because I don't have the answer (or the arrogance to think that I
do) myself. This may be what the chuckle was about.
