My apology was, of course, quite genuine as coming
from an aged character who has only the haziest grasp
of file type, file size & so on. But I didn't intend it
to be *that* fulsome an apology. What was my offense,
after all, but trying to help rescue an almost totally
neglected site from the doldrums? I'd have thought
you'd be grateful. Anyone but me, huh? As I say,
I only the realised the *full* implications of things
after the transmission was actually under way.

What amazes me, Suzanne, is that you should think
I would resort to some kind of cybermagic to 'bomb'
you. When, in the past, they've threatened me with
expulsion from the list it hasn't been for *that* sort
of crime. I don't go all around the houses when trying
to make a point. I do my knifing out there in broad
daylight with the old fashioned, perfectly straightforward
thrust through the epigastrium & diaphragm, while smiling
    into the victim's eyes.

I do, of course, sense your resentment. You're by no
means alone - which was one reason I decided to absent
myself for a while. But you mustn't push your luck.
Even the kindliest old bear allows only a certain amount
of petulance from the cubs. We aren't all as nice as
    the Professor.
