.....being very much a lapsed academic, I forgot to properly cite my source
for the Holden/Sally pas de deux..... It was, of course, "Slight Rebellion
Off Madison".... Don't you think JDS was AWFULLY prescient (ahem.... the
old high school Latin is beginning to come back, now that Sonny's pushed me
down the path towards nescience) to mention George Harrison in the same
story--which was published in December 1946!, fully fifteen years before
anyone had heard of John, Paul, GEORGE and Ringo?
