Well, normally it would be stuff for work...

(and so this summer it will be Flaubert and Kafka and Avital Ronell's *Crack
Wars* and Robert Crumb's wonderful comic book on Kafka and Deleuze and
Guattari's book on Kafka, and a Flaubert bio to be chosen later, and a little
Foucault for another class, etc, on the menu...)

 ...but at the moment it is David Foster Wallace's mega-novel *Infinite Jest*
-- a student I admire has repeatedly insisted I read it and since he will
eventually do a thesis on it, read it I shall.

So far, actually, I've quite enjoyed the pyrotechnics of it all... But I'm
less than a hundred pages in.

We'll see...
