One of the more pleasant discoveries I've made is a relatively new
web site that offers audio files of writers reading their work. (No,
JDS is not there nor is he represented by another person reading his
work!)

The site is at:

        http://www.mp3lit.com

Files are served out in both MP3 and RealAudio formats.

There's a good Hemingway, some Sylvia Plath, James Joyce, a
magnificent Dylan Thomas http://www.mp3lit.com/poetry/thomasd.html),
and any number of new offerings.

I've always held off listening to Plath and Hemingway (I have
audiotapes of them but have never broken the shrink wrap), but on
impulse I listened to them both. Neither was what I expected.
