Dear Dr. Bowman, your email seems increasingly schizophrenic these
days...but here's yet another grandiose claim...I never finished
Ulysses and plowed through Finnegans Wake only because I really loved
Vico...no, if you want to get high handed and all Joycean Scottie, I
only loved the Dubliners and thought Joyce was rightfully
overshadowed by the superior work of Virginia Woolf! But this is
silly...I have no idea what you are carping about except I think it's
a good thing when you make me your target because I find your barbs
very funny, will
