 You are correct. I recently had to write an
argumentative essay on capital punishment, and I came
across statistics and info that showed that there is a
correlation between guns and a higher murder rate in
the United States. Although it is obvious that this
needs to be stopped considering that innocent children
are dying, I doubt that the U.S. gov. will do anything
considering that Americans are so stubborn about
changing a part of the Constitution. I would not say
that it would be dangerous to reduce the amount of
guns sold to the public considering that other Western
countries have benefited greatly from stricter gun
control.
