   Hello Everyone,

I signed up to your forum on Monday, and have since been enjoying
reading your views and insights. I have loved J.D Salinger's work for many
years and look forward to disscussing him with you.

I work as a musician and a painter, and also have put together a
manuscript of the uncollected works of Malcolm Muggeridge, which I am
currently revising.

I haven't read Ian Hamilton's book (I glanced at the first few pages
and found it insufferable in its self-importance) and haven't felt inclined
to pursue other income supplimenting "insights" since. As for "Dream
Catcher" I would as soon seek Judas' opinion on Jesus, or for that matter
ask Mathilde Verlain for the low down on Rimbaud. Its not that I don't want
to know more about Salinger, I do. Its just that I would like the
informatiom to be accurate.

                                            Best wishes to you all,

                                                            Nick.
