I have found that negativity, judgement, and arrogant directing of others
(no matter how logical) as opposed to patient convincing, indicate that the
director really isn't worth following. I don't look at someone who is
negative and think, "Gee, I'd like to live like he does," and I have never
regretted not following negative people's direction.

As for a purely logical approach, I have found that life is funny that way:
sometimes I learn a something if I follow a purely logical path, but more
often the richest rewards are in the directions I take intuitively. But I
have great intuition.
