Yep, Scottie, you have a point. But while Salinger wrote about similar
subject matter (apparently), he sure wasn't as dense, was he? At least
not until much later...

C -- yep, the article I posted was actually about Franzen winning the
National Book Award...those quotes, though, killed me :). I wonder if
he won (at least partly) because he dissed Oprah :)
