    This brilliant modification of the old VNCEP (Vaudevillian's
    Numeric Codified Exchange Protocol) originally devised for
    the professional swopping of jokes could be further refined
    by omitting all that introductory 'I'd like to refer you...' stuff.
    A plain number would suffice - in this way obviating unnecessary
    typing & removing at a stroke the opportunity for
hostility-by-lower-case.
