I suppose I owe you, and others, an apology - it was never my intention
to evoke such negative sentiment, certainly not "fucking annoy" anybody
and I never intended to make it seem as though Salinger was pointing to an
elite audience by any means; I suppose I can attribute this to my poor
command of the English language. perhaps I was a bit off - what I meant to
portray was the feeling that everybody (even condescending bastards like
myself) experiences Salinger at different times, and while the effects are
all unique, I attempted to postulate (NOT assume, but nonetheless
obviously a mistake) that some similair thoughts may have been felt by
those of us sharing views now. I do appreciate your ideas, and thank you
for reminding me to think about how to phrase things in the future.
