There's a guy out there named Scottie Bowman that would probably like to
Kiss you right now, if he's still reading (probably not).  And then, if
you read Salinger's intro to one of his published collections (I can
never remember which one) praising amateur readers, well, I think
Salinger would appreciate you too.

If you're content to read a story once, enjoy it, then forget about it,
well, fine :)  If you spend time with a body of work, you start asking
questions.  Some of these discussions are attempts to answer some of
these questions.  Sometimes the discussions are completely misguided. 
But we learn from walking down the wrong paths as well.
