That isn't true at all. Half the conversation about JDS round here is what
a prick he'd be if we met him in real life (: No, really - there's nothing
`holy' about the desire to unlock a text. There's nothing sacred about JDS
either - if we all pandered to him the way he would like us to, we wouldn't
even be on this list. Simply, we want to find out the meanings behind the
text. In a lot of ways it's no different to lifting the bonnet of your car
(hood, to you Yanks (: ) and looking at the mechanics there. It's just an
interest in the way a text works, and why and how. And what's wrong with
that? Some people may just want to drive their car from A to B. That's
fine. But it's no reason to begrudge those who *do* want to know how it all
works.
