The heart lifted when I suddenly saw him coming along,
my old buddy from back home, one familiar face at last
in that throng of sniffy weirdos & foreigners.
I also know #8. But how I came by the knowledge reflects
absolutely no credit on myself, indeed fills me with such shame
that I wouldn't dream of revealing it now.
