Well, I do have to admit that she couldn't get much worse.
All Franny does is faint on the couch -- how appropriate an action for
an actress (oh wait, I forgot, she'd given it up) -- and listen when
Zooey lays it all out for her. Then she's got two choices: continue to
languish (must have been tempting for her) or return to the land of the
living.
Yeah, real growth there.
