Sure, such mentions are almost mandatory if there's any trace of
rebellion or teenage-dom.

I guess for me it was odd because I would have appreciated hearing
SOMEONE indicate SOMETHING to show that he or she had read a book other
than the Social Register. And there simply was not a trace of that, anywhere.

Oh, well -- as John said, it had its moments as documentaries go.
