Someone here mentioned something about Salinger being a Hemingway nut and it surprised me. From what I've read Salinger thought Hemingway to be a nut. Particularly after he killed a chicken with a gun while visiting a camp that Salinger was stationed at. As far as what he thought of his work, I don't know, but much can you enjoy a man's work when you think he's crazy. (Please, anybody, correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you, Sean
