I find it odd how music can influence people so much. For example, make them
want ot read books. This happened to me this summer, not in a class where the
teacher forced us to listen to something, but in my house where my sister
brought home a jimmy buffet cd. It was from the musical, 'don't stop the
carnival.' Very interesting music, but I had no idea what is was talking
about, so it got me interested in the book _don't stop the carnival_ by herman
Wouk <-sp?? I read it, it was okay, but I think I like the CD better.
