i'm no expert at literary classics--just my own --am yet to read all the
other great books. but if i may just comment on this...

as i was reading "the outsiders" by ms. hinton, there would be moments when
ponyboy reminded me of holden. it bothered me at first--i'm very attached
to "catcher"--but then... i guess i was bein' selfish. mr. jd salinger is
one and the only of its kind.

anyways, buddy glass? nope, haven't come across the likes of him yet.
