I was very disturbed to see an opening for a news program that was like
some sort of advertisement for war, making it look like the only thing to
do and a great and thrilling thing to do. Very coordinated and colorful
graphics and images. I assume it was locally produced -- I changed the
channel right away when I realized my jaw was dropped, so I don't know. It
was on a local channel known for it's sensationalized approach to news.
Then, it disturbed me again to wonder about the people who DIDN'T change
the channel. Video is a very powerful medium and this was done by experts
wanting to sell war. Awful. Disgusting.
