Daniel,

Pat Robertson said a hurricane that hit Central Florida and killed a couple
of people and destroyed many people's homes here was actually God's way of
punishing us because Disney allowed a celebration to be held by gay men in
one of their parks.

He also said the AIDS epidemic was God's righteous judgment on gay people.

He enthusiastically endorses Ashcroft and Bush, of course, because they, as
they are so fond of telling us, have "found Jesus" and have God on their side.

Meanwhile, the Office of Management and Budget, a part of the federal
government, tells us that the projections for the remainder of Georgie's time
in office are as red as red can be and that the staggering increase in the
debt orchestrated by the neo-cons will eventually cripple the ability of our
own government to meet the most basic needs of our own children and
grandchildren.

Now then, which analysis do you think I trust more?

Believe me, a President who can create a Federal surplus without cutting
education can lie all he wants about his sex life, if the only other option
is one who lies about "protecting the children" while he cuts the money out
from under their schools and mortgages their future.

I don't know exactly what Bush's friends and advisers are telling him; but
frankly, I'd rather it be someone other than the President who is swallowing
things in the White House.

All the best,

--John
