Tim,
It's great having your words on the banana again. I've
enjoyed them. I just laughed out loud to your "two
martinis clapping" comment actually.
Someone told me once that E.H. would write in some
hut, standing, writing things out longhand with some
big fat pencil until he got tired. I don't know if
that's that accurate, but the thought of him standing
there, writing, drinking, writing a line like "the
bull that about the man. This was a lie. The bull
could not think."...you can just imagine a drunk,
round medium old man chuckling and taking a swig
between each of those sentences, saying to himself,
"Why NOT! Heh heh".
Does anyone know if E.H. did lots of RE-writing? It
doesn't seem so. Seems like that's the part JDS loves
the most and must spend the most time on.
Anyway,
Just thought you might like to know I'm hapy you're
around, Tim. :)
